ACCA SUPPLEMENT FINANCE FOR BUSINESS

Third issue of Finance for Business supplement, produced jointly by ACCA and leading Ukrainian business daily "Economicheskie Izvestia" was published on 6 December 2010.
 
This issue, coming at the end of 2010, is looking into the future, on the issues that shed the light on what expects us in 2011 and future in general.
 
The issue opens with interview with Ilze Malkalne, ACCA member and top finance expert from airBaltic, Latvia. In this interview Ilze talks about situation in business and the plans for the coming year.
 
Nataliya Vovchuk, Head of ACCA Ukraine, Baltic and Caucasus States, following her presentation at the World Congress of Accountants in November, discusses what has to happen in the system of education of finance professionals.
 
New ACCA survey reveals points of view of over 500 business leaders about the role of finance professionals today and tomorrow.
 
New roles of audit are highlighted on the EU level now, and this is discussed in the article on European Commission recent green paper "Audit Policy: Lessons from the Crisis".
 
What employers should be expecting of the new generation of accountants? This topic is raised in the article on Generation Y, following recent survey by ACCA and Mercer.
