CBI Conference

On Monday 13 October the CBI will hold a tax conference in London to discuss ‘is the corporate tax system fit for purpose?’.

Speakers include:

  • Mark Tucker (Group chief executive, Prudential)
  • Richard Lambert (Director-general, CBI)
  • Robert Chote (Director, Institute for Fiscal Studies)
  • The Rt Hon Jane Kennedy MP (Financial secretary to the Treasury).

Chas Roy-Chowdhury, ACCA’s Head of Taxation, has been added to the panel of speakers and will participate in the afternoon session entitled ‘tax and the growing firm’.
